J&K govt transfers 14 senior officers, Anshul Garg is new Div Com Kashmir | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 05 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Tuesday ordered a major reshuffle in the civil administration, transferring 14 senior officers. According to an order, a copy of which lies with news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Naveen S L (IAS, AGMUT:2012), Secretary to the Government, Transport Department, has been posted as Secretary, Civil Aviation Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner, Civil Aviation, relieving Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary (IAS, AGMUT:2009) of the additional responsibilities. Avny Lavasa, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as Secretary to the Government, Transport Department. Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, has been transferred and appointed as Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir. Vikas Kundal, Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, has been posted as Chairman of the J&K Services Selection Board, while Gurpal Singh, Director, Social Welfare Jammu, has been posted as Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited. Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Anil Banka, awaiting posting, has been appointed as Special Secretary in the Finance Department. Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara. Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner of Kathua, will now serve as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu. Ayushi Sudan, Deputy Commissioner of Kupwara, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba. Among JKAS officers, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, has been transferred and will await further posting orders. Indu Kanwal, JKAS, currently Chairman of the J&K Services Selection Board, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora. Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary in the Labour and Employment Department, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Poonch. Rajesh Sharma, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner of Samba, will now serve as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua. The order was issued by the General Administration Department and comes into effect immediately—(KNO)
